I am a PhD candidate in neuropsychology at the University of Florida. Prior to this I received my B.S. and M.S. at Brigham Young University in psychology.
I spend the bulk of my time dealing with structural magnetic resonance images of the brain. My specialty is with traditional structural MR images, such as T1-weighted and T2-weighted images, as well as diffusion weighted images. I use a variety of software to process and analyze MR images. I also use both Mac (OS X) and Linux OSes in order to process the images. I’ve been directly involved in neuroimaging research for 4 years and counting.
Because my focus is structural imaging I will not cover any processing of functional MR data. There is a lot of great info out there about how to deal with images but because it is common to use a range of tools I created this page to bring much of the information together. This is a work in progress. Feel free to offer suggestions for and expansions to it.
